MONTE and Aerus Announce Partnership to Retrofit Aircraft to Zero Emission Propulsion

MONTE is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Aerus, a regional airline in Mexico, to explore the conversion of Aerus’ fleet to zero emission propulsion technologies. Aerus is the latest operator to sign such a partnership with MONTE, as they look to reduce emissions from their operations. MONTE will work with Aerus to identify the most suitable zero emission propulsion technology for their operations, and will then offer financing for the conversion of their fleet once this technology is approved and certified.

Aerus is a new regional airline in Mexico that has been created to increase regional connectivity within Mexico by offering a range of domestic and international flights. Aerus will operate a range of aircraft types and will initially launch operations with new Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX aircraft. Aerus are committed to reducing emissions from their operations and to decarbonise air transportation in Mexico. We are delighted to work with the team at Aerus as we continue on our journey towards zero emission aviation!

Please get in touch if you would like to learn more about how we are supporting operators in converting their aircraft to zero emission propulsion technologies and realising their carbon neutral ambitions.
